Job summary

Wellpath is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care in a nursing department. Under the supervision of Charge Nurse(s), you will educate patients and contribute to care planning, ensuring accuracy and compassionate communication throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating tests, documenting encounters, and collaborating with the health care team to optimize patient outcomes. Licensure and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prefer a minimum of one year clinic experience.
• Must have and maintain current RN licensure in the state of employment and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process under supervision of Charge Nurse.
• Administer medications, obtain diagnostic tests, and assist with minor procedures.
• Document nursing encounters and participate in mandatory staff meetings and training.
• Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians and supervisors as needed.

Education
