Homewood Retirement Centers in Frederick, MD seeks an experienced RN to assess direct resident care and administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards. This full-time on-site role requires strong clinical judgment and adherence to policies to ensure resident safety.

You will coordinate with Nursing Assistants and Healthcare staff, participate in care planning, maintain accurate records, and respond swiftly to emergencies.

Qualifikationen

• Current and valid RN license in the state providing nursing care.
• Judgment, initiative and dependability.
• Ability to read, write and understand English well.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and assist with resident transfers and lifts.

Aufgaben

• Assesses direct resident care and administers prescribed medications.
• Maintains confidential information about residents, families, and staff.
• Administers medications and treatments per nursing techniques.
• Provides accurate records of medical and nursing care.
• Assigns daily duties to Nursing Assistants and monitors care delivery.
• Transcribes and executes physician orders; supports physician visits.
• Participates in resident care planning and evaluates needs.
• Supports admissions and discharges of residents.
• Assists with managing Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides.
