Job summary

Southcoast Health in New Bedford, MA, is seeking an RN Resource Nurse to support patient care across shifts at St. Luke’s Hospital. This full-time role offers 40 hours weekly, Day/Evening coverage, and a competitive pay and benefits package.

You will coordinate clinical and non-clinical care activities, guide new staff, and ensure staffing levels meet patient needs. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, MA RN licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience in a suitable setting.
• Massachusetts RN licensure with BLS certification.
• Vaccination or approved exemption required after hire.

Responsibilities

Under direction of Director, Manager, Patient Care or Designee perform a variety of duties involving the coordination of both clinical and non-clinical care activities including but not limited to staff assignments, staffing levels, etc. Provide guidance, support and coordinate orientation of all new staff members.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of three years clinical experience in an appropriate setting, i.e. Medical Surgical, Critical/Coronary Care, etc. is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $47.61 - USD $87.42 /Hr.
