Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. is seeking an RN-Staff Nurse for a day-shift role at the Dartmouth, MA location. The position offers 40 hours per week with a focus on coordinating nursing care and patient education in a dynamic, patient-centered environment.

Required are an accredited nursing degree and MA/RI RN licensure, with BLS certification. EHR experience and vaccination compliance are preferred, and compensation is determined by experience.

Qualifications

Hours:40hrs

Shift:Day shift; 8:30AM - 5:00PM

Location: Primary Care – Dartmouth, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

Position reports to the Director, Manager or designee. Perform a variety of duties involving coordinating nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One to three years of related experience preferred.
• Previous Medical Office experience is desirable.
• Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) is highly desirable.
• 3-5 years of specific experience may be required based on practice/department specialty.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• ACLS may be required based on practice/department specialty.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $34.28 - USD $56.33 /Hr.
