Southcoast Health System, Inc. is hiring an RN Staff Nurse for the Pulmonary unit in Fall River, MA. This 32-hour day shift role involves coordinating nursing care, patient education, and collaborating with the health care team to uphold high clinical standards.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing degree, MA/RI RN licensure, BLS and EHR experience; ACLS may be required depending on department needs. Competitive benefits accompany a supportive, community-focused workplace.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One to three years of related experience preferred.
• Previous Medical Office experience is desirable.
• Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) is highly desirable.
• 3-5 years of specific experience may be required based on practice/department specialty.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• ACLS may be required based on practice/department specialty.
• Team player- multitasker- customer service a must
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or exemption by signing a statement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for patients and participate in patient/family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working with the nursing team to maintain professional nursing standards.
• Ensure care is appropriate to the age group regularly served.

Hours: 32hrs

Shift:Day shift; 8:30am - 5:00pm

Location: Pulmonary - Fall River, MA

Responsibilities

Position reports to the Director, Manager or designee. Perform a variety of duties involving coordinating nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Pay Range

USD $33.94 - USD $55.77 /Hr.
