Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. is seeking a Resident Services Supervisor in New York to support the Resident Services Director in implementing programs and department functions.

You will establish a medication system, perform daily Quality Enhancement reviews, and maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians. You will schedule staff, train new hires, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide daily living assistance while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification.
• Must complete all training programs specified by Atria.
• Must complete state-required training to maintain licensure or certification.
• Management experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and provide strong customer service.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Effective English communication; reading and summarizing instructions; presenting to groups or one-on-one.
• Ability to perform basic calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Flexible hours due to job demands.
• Position may require driving (Company or personal vehicle).
• Must have valid driver’s license and comply with MV policy.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise staff; cover staffing as needed; maintain a rotational on-call schedule.
• Provide training and orientation to new staff and ongoing development to current staff.
• Establish and maintain a medication system compliant with regulations and company procedures.
• Complete daily Quality Enhancement reviews to ensure state regulations and company policies are met.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety codes, and regulations for assisted living communities.
• Provide activities of daily living assistance to residents.
• Communicate with residents, families, department heads, staff, and the Executive Director effectively.
• Perform assessments and reassessments to determine resident needs and service plan recommendations.
• Prioritize tasks to ensure optimal services as needs change.
• Identify and report safety or quality issues to RSD or Executive Director.
• May perform other duties as needed.
