Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Illinois is seeking a Resident Services Supervisor to support the Resident Services Director in implementing programs and managing department functions in assisted living communities.

You will establish medication systems, conduct daily Quality Enhancement reviews, supervise staff, train new hires, ensure compliance with health and safety codes, and coordinate daily living assistance while maintaining strong relationships with residents, families, and physicians.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive as needed.
• Experience in supervision or management preferred.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Excellent organization and time-management abilities.
• Clear communication in English; ability to read simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise staff and cover staffing when needed.
• Train new staff and provide ongoing development.
• Maintain a medication system compliant with regulations.
• Conduct daily Quality Enhancement reviews and ensure state regulations are met.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and health/safety codes.
• Provide daily living assistance to residents and liaise with families and physicians.

• Licensed RN
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification as required.
• Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs.
• Must complete all state required training to maintain licensure or certification.

In the role of Resident Services Supervisor, you support the Resident Services Director (RSD) in implementing the Resident Services programs and overall department functions. You establish and maintain a medication system, complete daily Quality Enhancement reviews, and maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians.

• Schedule and supervise staff; available to cover staffing when needed; maintaining a staggered schedule with the RSD, including a rotational on call schedule.
• Provide training and orientation to new staff members and ongoing training and development to current staff members.
• Establish and maintain a medication system which adheres to all local, federal, and Company regulations and procedures.
• Complete daily Quality Enhancement reviews to ascertain if the department is meeting state regulations and Company policies.
• Ensure adherence to company policy and local health and safety codes and federal regulations for assisted living communities.
• Provide activities of daily living assistance to residents.
• Communicate to residents, families, department heads, resident services staff, and Executive Director in an effective manner.
• Perform assessments and reassessments as assigned to determine resident needs and service plan recommendations.
• Prioritize tasks to ensure optimum services to residents as requests and needs change over time.
• Look for ways to improve and promote quality, reporting any safety or quality issues to the RSD or Executive Director.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
