Job summary

Atria Senior Living in New York is seeking a Resident Services Supervisor to support the Resident Services Director in implementing programs and department functions. You will establish and maintain a medication system and perform daily Quality Enhancement reviews to ensure compliance.

You will supervise staff, provide training, coordinate staffing, and maintain excellent relations with residents, families, and physicians while upholding company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must complete all Atria specified training programs.
• Must complete all state required training to maintain licensure or certification.
• Management experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team setting and to provide strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise staff; coordinate with RSD and on-call rotation.
• Provide training and orientation to new staff and ongoing development to current staff.
• Establish and maintain a medication system in compliance with regulations.
• Complete daily Quality Enhancement reviews to ensure compliance with state regulations and policies.
• Ensure adherence to policy and health and safety codes for assisted living communities.
• Provide activities of daily living assistance to residents.
• Communicate with residents, families, department heads, and Executive Director effectively.
• Perform assessments and reassessments to determine resident needs and service plans.
• Prioritize tasks to ensure optimum services for residents.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality and report safety or quality issues.
