Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Leader to supervise resident services staff and maintain medication systems in accordance with state and company policies.

You will perform assessments, manage the department budget, coordinate training, and collaborate with the Life Guidance Director to ensure high-quality resident care. Local travel may be required and flexibility in hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license (RN/LPN/LVN) per state requirements.
• Direct patient care and clinical assessment experience.
• Experience recruiting, training and managing healthcare staff.
• Experience as department head in assisted living or related field.
• CPR certification and basic first aid knowledge.
• Must complete Atria Medication Management training.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop, and schedule resident services staff per policies.
• Establish and maintain a compliant medication system.
• Perform assessments and reassessments to plan resident care.
• Run the Resident Services Department within budget.
• Complete daily Quality Enhancement reviews for regulatory compliance.
• Serve as a contact for resident care issues within the community.
• Ensure adherence to state, health, and company regulations.
• Schedule and supervise staff; cover staffing as needed.
• Administer medications per state guidelines.
• Provide activities of daily living assistance.
• Deliver training and orientation to staff.
• Communicate with residents, families, and leadership.
• Support hospitality, leasing, and sales image promotion.
• Partner with Life Guidance Director on clinical relations.
• Deliver required training for self and staff.
• Maintain relationships with families and physicians.
• Possibly drive company vehicle.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
