Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Tacoma invites new graduate RNs to join the RN Resident/Transition to Practice program. You will complete classroom instruction and clinical hours with expert preceptors, building competence, autonomy, and compassionate patient care.

This 0.9 FTE residency offers mentorship, tuition assistance, and growth opportunities within a community hospital setting, aligning with our mission and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required or obtained within five years of hire.
• RN with 15+ years of service may be considered in lieu of education.
• Active Washington State RN license or MLS endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate nursing functions across the lifespan.
• Use the nursing process for care and health teaching in promotion or prevention.
• Work interdependently when executing medical regimens under physician direction.
• Contribute to quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.

Nursing licensure

BLS certification

ACLS/PALS/NRP within 90 days

Teamwork & collaboration

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing
