Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is launching its RN Residency Program starting November 2026. This 12-month transition-to-practice supports new graduate nurses with structured education, mentorship, and blended learning experiences designed to build clinical judgment and professional skills.

Residents rotate through Acute Care areas such as Post-Surgical/GI, Neurology, Orthopedics, Renal, Oncology and General Medical, with precepted orientation and cohort-based peer support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program is required.
• Current Georgia RN license and BLS CPR certification.
• BSN preferred; advanced certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 12-month RN residency with education, mentorship, and peer support.
• Develop clinical judgment and communication skills essential for patient care.
• Engage in specialty rotations within Acute Care at Piedmont Atlanta.
