Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS obtained within 30 days of employment
• ACLS obtained within 1 year of employment
• RN license or Graduate Nurse in the state
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift; report changes
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered; document care in medical record
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response; notify provider if needed
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs
• Educate patients, families and caregivers about condition, plan and medications
