Job summary
TriStar Horizon Medical Center offers the HCA Healthcare Residency Program, a year-long pathway designed to transition student nurses into registered nurses with hands-on experience across multiple specialties. The program emphasizes clinical training, mentorship, and evidence-based practice projects within a supportive nursing education framework.

Qualifications
- BLS obtained within 30 days of employment
- ACLS obtained within 1 year of employment
- RN license or Graduate Nurse status in the state
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, report changes
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or functions as ordered by the provider; document care in the record
- Administer prescribed medications; monitor response and intervene as needed
- Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs
- Teach patients and families about condition, plan and medications; translate complex terms for understanding
