Job summary

Methodist Healthcare’s Residency Program offers structured, hands-on experience for new graduate RNs transitioning to registered nurses within a supportive educational environment. • BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment.
• Other certifications may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Document administration of care in the patient record thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plan, and follow-up.
