Job summary

Research Medical Center is offering a year-long RN Residency Program designed to transition graduates to professional practice with hands-on learning, simulations, and mentoring from nurse leaders. The program includes advanced clinical training, monthly education sessions, and a formal preceptorship;

new graduates gain exposure to multiple hospital areas and scholarship support, with opportunities across Medical-Surgical, ICU, ED, OR and more as they progress through the residency year.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of employment.
• Some travel may be needed for training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care as an RN Resident.
• Assist in procedures, documentation, and medication administration.
• Teach patients, families and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with care teams to support a smooth transition from student to registered nurse.
