Methodist Richardson Medical Center offers a Nurse Resident program designed to support new graduates through a structured 1-year residency, with a full-time 36-hour weekly schedule across 3 days per week. Residents work within a multidisciplinary team providing compassionate, patient-centered care and are expected to participate in all classes and precepted rotations.

You will be accountable for applying the nursing process, communicating clearly, and maintaining safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Texas RN license required by start of residency.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients.
• Direct and supervise other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
• Adhere to nursing process to ensure quality patient care throughout the episode of care.
