Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is launching a 12-month RN Residency Program beginning February or March 2027 for new graduate nurses. The program combines precepted orientation with blended learning, mentorship, and peer support to prepare new graduates for safe, high-quality care.

Opportunities span Medical/Surgical, Transplant, Cardiac Progressive Care, Critical Care, ED, OR, Cardiovascular OR, and Women’s Services, with emphasis on developing clinical judgment and communication skills

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current license in the state of Georgia as a Registered Nurse
• BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• The Staff RN provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
