Job summary

HCA Healthcare is offering a Nurse Residency Program at Lee's Summit Medical Center for new graduate RNs. The paid, year‑long program supports transition from student to registered nurse with hands‑on practice, mentoring, and structured education.

Eligible Canadian and Mexico graduates may qualify for TN visa sponsorship with potential EB3 filing. Relocation to Kansas City may be considered six months in advance for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• RN-related licensure or eligibility in the state
• Nursing degree from an accredited program
• No prior work experience required for the residency program

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by providers
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs
• Educate patients and families about conditions, plans, and follow-up measures

Education

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program

Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
