Lee's Summit Medical Center is seeking a new graduate RN for its HCA Healthcare Residency Program in Kansas City. This paid, year‑long program offers hands‑on clinical training, mentoring from experienced nurse educators, and a structured pathway to professional practice as an RN.

Qualifications

• BLS obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS obtained within 1 year of employment.
• Other Certifications may be required during employment.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State.
• No previous experience needed.
• Some travel may be needed for training.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider; document care in the medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor response, and intervene as needed.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and anticipating needs.
• Teach patients and families about medical condition, status, treatment, medications and follow-up.
