Lee's Summit Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, offers a year-long RN Residency Program designed to transition new graduates to registered nurses with hands-on clinical experiences. The program includes advanced training, monthly education, preceptorship, simulations, mentoring, and an evidence-based project.

We sponsor eligible Canadian and Mexican candidates on TN visas with EB3 filing, and offer relocation to Kansas City if needed.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program (ADN/BSN).
• Current RN license or Graduate Nurse status in the state required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and every shift; report changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, and other tasks as ordered; document care.
• Administer medications; monitor response; notify provider of adverse events.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and provide proactive care.
• Educate patients and families about condition, care plan, meds, and follow-up.
