Job summary

HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge is offering a year‑long RN Residency Program designed to support new nurses as they transition from the classroom to professional practice within a high‑acuity hospital setting.

You will participate in structured learning experiences, hands‑on clinical training, monthly education sessions, and preceptorship under experienced nurse leaders to develop critical thinking and clinical skills.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of employment
• ACLS certification required or obtained within 1 year of employment
• Other certifications may be required during employment
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State of practice
• No previous experience required for RN Residency
• Some travel may be needed for training

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, noting changes
• Perform procedures and monitor patient status as ordered by providers
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses
• Provide timely and compassionate patient care and respond to requests
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow‑up measures
