Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora is offering a Registered Nurse Resident position as part of a year‑long Residency Program designed to bridge classroom learning to professional practice. You will be surrounded by nurse educators and a supportive community of mentors that promote learning, clinical application and growth.

The program includes hands-on training, preceptorship, simulations, and mentored projects across multiple units.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required within the stated timeframes.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• RN license in the state where you will work.
• No previous experience required.
• Some travel may be needed for training.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, noting changes.
• Perform procedures and document care in the patient record.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications, and follow-up.
