This paid program provides advanced clinical training, monthly education sessions, preceptorship, and mentorship from experienced nurse leaders to support a smooth transition from student nurse to licensed RN.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS within 1 year of employment.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Registered Nurse license or Graduate Nurse in the state.
• No previous experience needed.
• Some travel may be needed for training.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, reporting changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider and document care.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic response, advising provider as needed.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate patient needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up steps.
