Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center offers a year-long RN Residency program designed to bridge from student nurse to registered nurse with hands-on practice, simulations, and mentoring from experienced nurse leaders.
The program emphasizes advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship, and an evidence-based project to promote patient-centered care and professional growth within the HCA Healthcare network.
Competenze
- BLS and ACLS certifications required within specified timelines.
- RN license or graduate nurse status in the state.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- No previous experience required.
Mansioni
- Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes in status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered; document care in the medical record.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic response; notify provider if needed.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs to deliver exceptional care.
- Teach patients, families and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
