Piedmont Atlanta Hospital offers a 12-month Nurse Residency program beginning November 2026 to transition new graduates from student to professional nurses. The program combines education, mentorship and peer support with precepted orientation and blended learning experiences to develop clinical judgment and communication skills.

RN residents will gain exposure within Acute Care specialties such as Post-Surgical/GI, Neurology, Orthopedics, Renal, Oncology and General Medical, fostering

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New graduates are eligible.
• Current Georgia RN license and BLS CPR certification required.
• BSN preferred; additional certifications welcomed.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Coordinate patient care activities with assigned staff.
• Maintain standards of practice and accountability.
