Job Description

Under general supervision, coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with the healthcare team. The Wound Care RN manages patient care, collects patient history and wound data, educates patients and caregivers, and functions as a case manager for assigned patients.

Job Requirements

1. Education: Degree from an accredited nursing program.
2. License: Current RN licensure in Ohio.
3. Certification: Current BCLS certification; specialty certifications as required.
4. Physical Demands: Flexibility to work varying schedules, including overtime and shifts exceeding usual hours. Ability to move about for extended periods and transfer patients over 100 pounds. Participate in equipment use, safety, and performance improvement activities.
