The Northwest Ohio Hemophilia Treatment Center is a hospital outpatient department that specializes in the care of patients with bleeding disorders, clotting disorders and other benign hematological disorders. We are a comprehensive care center that specializes in the care of patients across the lifespan. Hemophilia Treatment Centers are federally designated and emphasize preventative services to help reduce or eliminate complications. We are also a Center for Excellence in the care of women/girls with bleeding.
Position Summary:
TheRN, Clinical Nurse IIis responsible for not only the delivery of comprehensive nursing care, but also for the supervision of care delegated to other members of the health care team. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with the patient, family, and other members of the health care team and community to formulate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate the plan of care based on data collected from knowledge of the biological, physical, spiritual behavioral, psychosocial and environmental safety assessment of the patient. The RN also functions as a patient advocate. As an integral part of the patient care delivery team, the RN accepts individual responsibility and accountability for providing excellent service, nursing care, and a positive customer experience.
