Job summary

Firelands Health in Sandusky, OH is seeking an OR Circulator to support patient care during 7a-7:30p shifts. The role requires responding to calls within 30 minutes and adherence to ACE values. Comprehensive benefits and employee support are highlighted.

Qualified candidates hold an Ohio RN license with CPR, ACLS, and Basic EKG within 6 months of hire. Prior nursing experience is preferred, with strong organizational and communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Ohio RN license and CPR prior to patient care.
• Prefer at least 1 year of nursing experience.
• ACLS and Basic EKG required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Board certification preferred within 2 years in area of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Implements the nursing process with patients including carrying out physicians orders regarding diet, medication and treatment in accordance with Firelands standards of care.
• Performs assessments; monitors and ensures quality care through observation and evaluation; documents nursing interventions on care plans, medical records, and reports findings to physicians as needed
• Instructs patients, staff, and family members regarding treatments, nursing plans and related patient care directed towards a safe discharge.
• Responds to emergencies; maintains availability of medications and supplies; ensures cleanliness of equipment and environment
• Demonstrate service excellence and ACE – Attitude, Commitment, Enthusiasm. Act as an ambassador and advocate for FRMC.
