Job summary

BayCare Health System, Surgery-SJHN, is seeking an Operating Room RN for day shifts in St. Josephs North. The role requires at least 2 years of RN experience with 1 year in the OR, and is an on-site position with on-call duties. Shift is 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with on-call and in-person requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other health care team members.
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development per best practice standards from a national specialty organization.
• RN also serves as preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

The Operating Room RN responsibilities include:

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team

• RN is also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

This position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience. For consideration for this position, at least 1-year Operating Room experience as an RN is required.
