BayCare seeks an experienced RN for ICU Critical Care-Adults at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, FL. The role demands delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a busy ICU environment. Licensed nurses with ICU experience are encouraged to apply.

The position is full-time with a 6:45 PM–7:15 AM shift, every other weekend, in-person only. Requirements include an active RN license and nursing degree, plus 1 year ICU experience and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Formación

• RN license required.
• Nursing degree (Diploma/ASN/BSN or higher).
• 1 year ICU RN experience in acute care.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Care for ICU patients using nursing process and standards.
• Delegate tasks to health care team as appropriate.
• Monitor vitals and document changes.
• Recognize emergencies and respond promptly.
• Coordinate discharge planning and referrals.

• Location: Mease Countryside Hospital - Medical/Surgical ICU - Safety Harbor, Florida
• Status: Full Time

Requirements:

• RN (Registered Nurse) License
• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's in Nursing
• 1-year RN experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting
• BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• ACLS certification with the American Heart Association

The Registered Nurse - ICU responsibilities and skills:

• Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ICU patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care
• Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
• Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
• Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients
• Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge
• High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
• Professional accountability and development
