Job summary

Sterling Care Forest Hill is seeking an experienced RN to supervise nursing staff and deliver high-quality care to residents in a supportive environment.

The role includes administering medications, supervising GNA staff, and ensuring safety and dignity for residents, with adherence to nursing policies and state regulations. A $5000 sign-on bonus is offered for this position.

Qualifications

• State RN license required for Maryland.
• Graduate from accredited nursing program in nursing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care while safeguarding residents’ rights and dignity.
• Supervise G.N.A's and subordinate staff to ensure tasks are completed.
• Administer parenteral, intramuscular, and subcutaneous injections.
• Administer medications within RN licensure scope and maintain narcotics records.
• Review daily narcotics dispensing documentation.

Qualifications for the (RN) Registered Nurse:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program
• Registered with the state as an RN / Registered Nurse

Responsibilities as an (RN) Registered Nurse:

• Provides quality nursing care to Residents/residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, and freedom of choice.
• Provides supervision to G.N.A's and all subordinate staff which includes checking their work to ascertain that assignments have been completed.
• Administer all parenteral, intramuscular, and sub‑cutaneous injections.
• Administer medications within the scope of practice of the RN Licensure. Maintain a current report of narcotics received and used.
• Review daily the documentation of the dispensing of the controlled substances and narcotics.
