Job summary

Sterling Care Riverside is seeking a Registered Nurse to supervise nursing staff and ensure the health, safety, and welfare of Residents in accordance with applicable laws and established nursing policies and procedures.

The RN will supervise G.N.A.s, administer injections and medications, and maintain narcotics records with a strong emphasis on compassionate, patient-centered care. Join a close-knit team committed to residents and staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must be RN licensed in state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision to staff and safeguards residents' health and safety.
• Administer all injections within the RN scope.
• Administer medications and maintain narcotics records.
• Review daily the documentation of the dispensing of the controlled substances.

Qualifications for the (RN) Registered Nurse:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program
• Registered with the state as an RN / Registered Nurse

Responsibilities as an (RN) Registered Nurse:

• Provides quality nursing care to Residents/residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, and freedom of choice.
• Provides supervision to G.N.A's and all subordinate staff which includes checking their work to ascertain that assignments have been completed.
• Administer all parenteral, intramuscular, and sub-cutaneous injections.
• Administer medications within the scope of practice of the RN Licensure. Maintain a current report of narcotics received and used.
• Review daily the documentation of the dispensing of the controlled substances and narcotics.
