Job summary

Complete Care - Connecticut is seeking an RN for full-time PRN opportunities and ongoing roles to provide skilled nursing care for residents recently discharged or in long-term care. You will administer medications, perform wound care, and conduct health assessments in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in CT
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Reliable professional references and physical evaluation

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, topical, IV and injectable medications.
• Perform wound care, dressings, pain management and preventive care.
• Conduct health assessments, monitor changes and document data.
• Develop, update and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers and care team.
• Educate residents and families about health status and care expectations.
• Maintain detailed health records of status, care and progress.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality care.

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents:

Administer Medications:

Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications

Treatments:

Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings

Assessment & Monitoring:

Conduct health assessments, track changes & analyze data

Care Planning:

Create, update & execute individualized care

Collaboration:

Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others

Family & Resident Education:

Explain health status, changes and expectations for care

Documentation:

Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions

Team Oversight:

Oversee & delegate to LPN’s and CNA’s ensuring quality care/teamwork
