Job summary

Complete Care is hiring an RN Registered Nurse for full-time day-to-evening coverage (3p-11p) to provide skilled nursing care after hospital discharge and long-term support. Qualifications

• Licensed to work as an RN registered nurse in the state.
• Background check, drug screen, references and physical evaluation required.
• Professional and clinical skills with leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications including oral, topical, IV and injections.
• Provide treatments such as wound care, pain management and dressings.
• Perform health assessments and monitor changes in patient status.
• Create and update individualized care plans and execute them.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and social workers on care.
• Educate residents and families about health status and expectations.
• Document health status, care provided and patient progress.
• Oversee and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality care.

Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications

Treatments: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings

Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct health assessments, track changes & analyze data

Care Planning: Create, update & execute individualized care

Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others

Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care

Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions

Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate to LPN's and CNA's ensuring quality care/teamwork
