Complete Care - Connecticut is hiring an RN Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for residents recently discharged from hospital or needing long-term care. You will administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor health status while coordinating with physicians and the care team.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Connecticut.
• Demonstrates clinical proficiency and leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications (oral, topical, IV, injectable).
• Perform wound care, manage pain, apply dressings.
• Conduct health assessments and track changes.
• Create, update and execute individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers and others.

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents:

• Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications
• Treatments: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings
• Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct health assessments, track changes & analyze data
• Care Planning: Create, update & execute individualized care
• Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others
• Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care
• Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions
• Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate to LPN’s and CNA’s ensuring quality care/teamwork
