Job summary

Westchester Village in Lenexa, Kansas is seeking a compassionate RN to provide comprehensive nursing care to residents across independent, assisted living, and long-term care settings. The RN will conduct daily rounds, assess conditions, communicate with families and physicians, and ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited program, current Kansas RN license, CPR certification, and ongoing CEU requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Kansas RN license without encumbrance; maintain licensure and CEU requirements.
• CPR certification required; long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care per federal, state and company requirements.
• Make daily rounds; assess residents' condition and comfort.
• Follow infection control and safety policies; protect residents from injury.
• Communicate with physicians and families; maintain hand-off communications with staff.
• Oversee direct care staff to ensure tasks and cares are completed as assigned.
