Job summary

Westchester Village seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hands-on care to residents in a nursing home setting, aiming to enhance physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The CNA will support activities of daily living, document care, and follow safety and infection control protocols.

The position requires completion of an approved CNA training program and successful competency exams.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved Certified Nursing Assistant training program.
• Must have passed competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Follows community philosophy and goals to maintain residents' quality of care and life.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living as outlined in care plans.
• Completes documentation of resident care as assigned.
• Follows safety policies and infection control guidelines.
• Attends facility meetings and trainings as assigned.
• Reports changes in resident condition to the Charge Nurse.
