Job summary

Complete Care - MidAtlantic is seeking a Registered Nurse in Delaware to provide direct patient care in a skilled nursing setting. You will administer medications, perform wound care, conduct health assessments, and participate in care planning while collaborating with physicians, therapists, social workers, and families.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Delaware
• Strong clinical nursing skills and patient care focus
• Ability to document accurately and communicate with care teams

Responsibilities

• Administer medications (oral, topical, IV, injections)
• Perform wound care, manage pain, and apply dressings
• Conduct health assessments and track patient changes
• Create and update individualized care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers
• Educate residents and families about health status and care expectations
• Maintain detailed records of health status and care progress
• Oversee and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality care

Responsibilities

• Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications
• Treatments: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings
• Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct health assessments, track changes, analyze data
• Care Planning: Create, update, and execute individualized care plans
• Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers and others
• Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care
• Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress and interactions
• Team Oversight: Oversee and delegate to LPNs and CNAs ensuring quality care and teamwork

Qualifications

• Licensed in Delaware as an RN Registered Nurse
• Pass background check, drug screen, professional references check and physical evaluation
• Professionally & clinically skilled with leadership qualities
