Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents while ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs are met. The RN collaborates with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families to develop and implement individualized care plans while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and facility policies.
Essential Responsibilities
Assess residents and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and other physician-ordered interventions safely and accurately.
Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate updates to physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in resident status.
Participate in admissions, discharges, and care coordination.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
Promote a safe, compassionate, and resident-centered environment.
Qualifications
Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
