Job summary

Complete Care at Annapolis in Annapolis, MD is hiring an RN Registered Nurse for Direct Care. Full Time 2nd shift and Part Time 3rd shift are available, with PRN options for experienced nurses.

You will administer medications, provide wound care, monitor residents, and update care plans while collaborating with physicians, therapists, social workers and families. Requires MD RN license and at least 1 year of long-term care experience; perks include tuition reimbursement, daily pay, career growth

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience in Long Term Care (required)
• Maryland RN license (required)
• Excellent nursing assessment and documentation skills (required)

Responsibilities

• Administer medications: oral, topical, IV, injections
• Wound care: perform treatments and dressings
• Assessment & monitoring: health assessments, track changes
• Care planning: create, update & execute individualized care plans
• Collaboration: work with physicians, therapists, social workers & others
• Family & resident education: explain health status and care expectations
• Documentation: maintain detailed health status and care records
• Team oversight: supervise LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality care

Treatments: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings

Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct health assessments, track changes & analyze data

Care Planning: Create, update & execute individualized care

Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others

Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care

Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions

Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate to LPN's and CNA's ensuring quality care/teamwork
