Complete Care at Hyattsville is seeking an RN Registered Nurse for direct care in a long-term care setting. Full and Part Time positions are available, with PRN/per diem not currently accepted. Maryland RN license required and background checks are needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year long-term care experience required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Maryland.
• Pass background check, drug screen, references, and physical evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications by oral, topical, IV and injectable routes.
• Perform wound care, pain management and dressing applications.
• Conduct health assessments and monitor changes.
• Develop, update and execute individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers and others.
• Educate residents and families on health status and care expectations.
• Maintain detailed documentation of health status, care provided and progress.
• Oversee and delegate to LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality care and teamwork.

Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care

Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions

Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate to LPN's and CNA's ensuring quality care/teamwork
