Complete Care - MidAtlantic is seeking a skilled RN to provide nursing care to individuals recently discharged from the hospital and to those requiring long-term care in Annapolis, Maryland. Candidates must possess a Maryland RN license and have at least one year of long-term care experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications orally, topically, IV, and injectable.
• Perform wound care/prevention and manage pain.
• Conduct health assessments and track changes.
• Create and execute individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to strategize care.
• Educate family and residents on health status.
• Maintain detailed documentation of health status.
• Oversee and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications orally, topically, IV and injectable
• Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings
• Conduct health assessments, track changes, analyze data
• Create, update and execute individualized care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers and others to strategize care
• Educate family and residents on health status and care expectations
• Maintain detailed documentation of health status, care, progress and interactions
• Oversee and delegate to LPNs and CNAs ensuring quality teamwork

Qualifications

• Licensed to work within the state of Maryland as an RN
• Pass (and be willing to pass) background check, drug screen, professional reference check and physical evaluation
• Professionally and clinically skilled with leadership qualities
