Complete Care at Severna Park in Severna Park, MD is hiring an RN Registered Nurse (Direct Care) to provide skilled nursing care to residents recently discharged from hospital and those needing long-term care. Administer medications, provide treatments, and monitor health status.

Qualifications

• MD RN license to practice in Maryland.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and references.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications including oral, topical, IV, and injections.
• Provide wound care and pain management.
• Conduct health assessments and monitor changes.
• Create, update and execute individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers and others.
• Educate residents and families about health status and care changes.
• Document health status, care provided, and progress.
• Oversee and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality care.

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents:

Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications

Treatments: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings

Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct health assessments, track changes & analyze data

Care Planning: Create, update & execute individualized care

Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others

Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care

Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions

Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate to LPN’s and CNA’s ensuring quality care/teamwork
