Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Regional Float Pool, delivering high-quality nursing care across Mercy South and surrounding communities in the St. Louis region.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for adult/geriatric patients while rotating through Med/Surg, Tele, Stepdown, and ICU units. Night shifts with shift differentials and comprehensive benefits accompany this dynamic role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact license.
• Minimum 1 year bedside RN experience for Med/Surg.
• Minimum 2 years bedside RN experience for ICU/other specialties.
• Epic experience preferred.
• BLS for Med/Surg; BLS & NRP for Women’s Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care.
• Float to multiple Mercy facilities in the St. Louis region.
• Collaborate with diverse care teams to ensure safety and quality.
• Adhere to nursing standards and Mercy policies.
