Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support a Regional Float Pool across multiple hospitals in the St. Louis region.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients, with opportunities to float to Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU, and more. Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, an active RN license (Compact or state), and 1–2 years of bedside experience depending on specialty.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• One year of recent bedside RN experience to work Med/Surg.
• Minimum of two years of recent bedside RN experience for ICU or other specialties.
• BLS certification; ACLS for Critical Care (CC).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients.
• Float across multiple units including Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU as needed.
• Collaborate with diverse care teams and patient populations to ensure quality care.
• Maintain licensure and adhere to standards of nursing practice.
