Job summary
Corewell Health Southfield Center is seeking a part-time Clinical Nurse in Labor and Delivery to float among five sites. The RN will provide patient-centered nursing care during the night shift, following ANA guidelines and organizational policies.
Required are Michigan RN licensure, active certifications (BLS, EFM, NRP), and 2 years of acute care experience. The role emphasizes competency testing and collaboration with the Nursing leadership across sites.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with active Michigan RN license.
- ANCC EFM and NRP required; specialty certification encouraged after 2 years in specialty.
- BLS certification through recognized organization is required.
- 2 years of recent acute care RN experience, with ability to float between sites.
- Must demonstrate competency testing in all nursing areas eligible for floating.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care following nursing process and patient-family centered care.
- Float to multiple hospital sites within the Labor and Delivery areas as needed.
- Collaborate with Nurse Leader and Beaumont Corewell Health policies and procedures.
