Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
• 3 years of recent ICU nursing experience.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
• TB screening and required vaccinations.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct patient care across units, utilizing clinical knowledge to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify potential complications or changes in patient condition before significant clinical deterioration occurs.
• Execute a wide range of professional nursing interventions including medication administration, wound care, patient education, and post‑operative care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated, patient‑centered care.
• Demonstrate flexibility and clinical judgment by rapidly orienting to different units, patient populations, and care protocols within the float pool environment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and clinical staff to support quality improvement initiatives and maintain safe patient care standards.
• Work assigned day and night shifts as scheduled to meet organizational staffing needs.
