Job summary

GEO Secured Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform quality improvement activities within Health Services. The RN Quality Control will collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate patient care, monitor performance data, and implement process improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance in a correctional health setting.

The role requires an active RN license in California, at least two years of relevant experience, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with active RN license in the state.
• Two years of direct nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and infection control standards.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perfoms quality improvement activities in daily Health Services operations.
• Collaborates with health care team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends and reduce costs.
• Develops and implements process changes and monitors impact.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Document and report improvement activities internally and externally as appropriate.
• Plan and organize quality control programs to support patient care quality.
