GEO Corrections & Detentions seeks a qualified Registered Nurse to work in a correctional health setting. You will provide high-quality nursing care to inmates, perform assessments, manage medications, and coordinate with physicians and LPNs to ensure patient safety.

The role requires an AZ RN license, up-to-date skills in clinical nursing, and the ability to work independently in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent diagnostic skills, patience and natural empathy are key qualities.
• Two years of direct RN experience preferred.
• Must have current, unrestricted RN license in AZ.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to inmates/detainees in a secure facility.
• Perform comprehensive physical assessments and medical histories.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for adverse effects.
• Coordinate care with physicians and LPN supervision.
• Maintain confidential medical records and follow accreditation policies.
