Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Quality Assurance Supervisor for a correctional health services setting in Colorado. You will oversee nursing care, ensure compliance with standards, and lead QA activities to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include staff oversight, policy adherence, and coordinating care with the health team. Prior supervisory experience and strong regulatory knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the state where the facility is located.
• Two years of direct nursing experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and follow through on care plans.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide comprehensive nursing care in a correctional setting while ensuring security.
• Perform quality improvement activities in Health Services.
• Monitor staff compliance with policies and regulations.
• Coordinate with health care team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Analyze performance data to improve services and reduce costs.
• Plan and organize quality control programs and activities.
• Report findings and recommendations to management.
• Ensure detainees are oriented to available services and how to access care.
